Certified Erosion & Sediment Control Lead Training (CESCL)

Clear Water’s CESCL training has been approved by the Washington State Department of Ecology: http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/wq/stormwater/cescl.htm

Clear Water’s CESCL training course provides you with the tools and resources you need to do your job as a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead on your project site. The cost of our 2-day course is $375 per person which includes:

Classroom Training (Day 1)
 
Day 1 is in the classroom where participants will receive a handbook with resources, manuals, and other information pertaining to your job as a CESCL, BMPs, and stormwater regulations and permits. You will also receive a CD with valuable electronic resources. The classroom training also has several hands-on demonstrations and explanations of monitoring and BMPs. An ample lunch break will be allowed.    
Field Training (Day 2)
 
Day 2 is a field training where participants install and test numerous BMPs in different applications, interact with peers and participate in demonstrations of spill control products. More resources will be available on Day 2 such as samples of BMPs and contact information for local BMP vendors. LUNCH IS PROVIDED. After lunch participants are taken to see a Chitosan-Enhanced Sand Filtration system and how it works. Boots, hard hats and safety vest required.
